Alucast and wire seal for the applications that will not accept the traditional lead and wire seal. This seal will also comply with paragraph S.1.8. of Handbook 44. This seal is installed using the same method as the lead and wire seal using the same sealing press. The only difference is the lead is replaced with soft aluminum. It is made of 98% 2SO aluminum with a melting point of 1200 deg F. The wire is 12" long, special spirally-wound galvanized steel, 0.044" dia with approximate breakstrength of 17 lb.
